Behind our Summer 2026 menu

Each new season with the coffee cart gives us an opportunity to express ourselves with new flavors, new drinks, and new tastes! Since we spend a fair amount of time in what we call the “flavor lab” to create those drinks, we try to give just as much energy to the meaning and story behind the items that become our seasonal specials. For our Summer menu, this was one of those cases that seemed to find us, and once we had the idea, it just clicked!

We recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Europe, and during our time there, we were inspired by so many amazing new dishes and drinks. There is something to traveling that just seems to get the imagination and tastebuds firing, and we knew that we wanted to find a way to translate our discoveries into the Summer menu on the coffee cart!

Since taking a trip abroad isn’t something any of us get to do every day (but if you find out how, please let us know!!), we really wanted to capture the feeling and energy that comes with exploring new places and new tastes while at home. In this spirit, we created three items that are personal to our trips and are an expression of our love for these places:

Paddington Pistachio Latte

This one was inspired by our visit to the beautiful city of London! While there, we had the chance to have afternoon tea (the English take their tea very seriously!). Along with this came an assortment of pastries, one of which was a super delicious pistachio / pecan tart. We both fell in love with how tasty and comforting the dainty little pastry was, and I knew then that we would need to pay tribute to afternoon tea and London in general with our Summer menu! The drink is a bit nutty and a bit sweet, like many of us :)

Rosemary Riviera Latte

During our time in Italy, we took a day-trip to a stunning farm-to-table property. The owners grow every type of herb and vegetable you could think of, and the amount of wild rosemary growing around the place was incredible! We actually had the opportunity to craft this rosemary latte back in the Spring for a birthday celebration, and we thought this was a perfect opportunity to bring the drink back as a reminder of that magical farm! This latte is pleasantly herbal, and we add a splash of vanilla bean to round it out!

Bahama Matcha

Even though we live among some amazing beaches here in the Lowcountry, sometimes you just want to get away to the turquoise waters of the Bahamas! Since Summer is a time of sun and sand, we wanted to show some love to the stunning place that is the Bahamas. For this drink, we took our matcha latte and opted for coconut milk instead, giving it a subtle sweetness and a big Summertime vibe. We also chose to top it with ube, which is a purple variety of yam, to remind us of the colorful cultures and beaches found in the Bahamas!

Fun fact, we got engaged on this cruise ship!!

There you have it! Our Summer 2026 specials, created to transport us - and hopefully you - to just a few of the special places around the world. We truly hope we have the chance to serve these to you this season, and we are so thankful for the continued love and support that allows us to do this!!

See you at the airport!
