Hi! We’re Michael and Katie — co-founders of The Loyal Cup, a mobile coffee cart inspired by a love for coffee, community, and (of course) our loyal companions.
When we began this journey, we knew we wanted to create something meaningful that brought people together over a really good cup of coffee. For us, coffee isn’t just a drink. It’s a way to connect, to slow down, and to share moments that matter.
Michael’s passion for coffee deepened during his time studying in Italy. As a dual citizen, he was immersed in a culture where a simple espresso holds ritual, relationship, and belonging. This perspective continues to shape every cup we serve today.
Katie is a veterinarian in Bluffton with a deep love for animals and people alike. She believes even small, joyful moments, like sharing a coffee at an event, can make a big difference in someone’s day. Her warmth, creativity, and attention to detail have evolved and shaped The Loyal Cup into the experience that it is today.
Together, we started The Loyal Cup to blend our stories, passions, and values into one joyful experience, with coffee at the center and kindness all around.

The Loyal Cup is a mobile coffee cart, but it’s also our way of connecting with the amazing community around us and creating lasting memories with others.
Our inspiration comes not just from great coffee, but from our three beloved dogs ~ Aja Remington, and Charlotte! Our playful logo and branding are actually inspired by Charlotte, our spunky Corgi whose boundless energy and loyal spirit capture everything we want The Loyal Cup to be: approachable, joyful, and full of heart.
From local markets to weddings and private events, we aim to serve coffee that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and memorable. We truly feel that the “best” coffee is whichever coffee you enjoy drinking most, and we strive to serve you exactly that!
